It Starts with You!
Last year 100% of the teachers at MVES joined the PTO and our goal is to have 100% of the families join today. With your help, we raised over $30,000 for MVES – $20,000 of which went to new laptops for our school. We couldn’t have done it without YOU!Bottom line is that the more members we have, the better school we have. We need your ideas, talents, volunteer hours, and donations to create a successful PTO that helps reach the high goals we have set at MVES. No individual has all of the answers, but collectively, we’ve got it all.

Join the MVES PTO and be part of the excitement. Family membership dues are only $15 for the school year. It’s an easy investment that goes a long way. The money we collect through dues and the Fall Fundraiser enable us to sign contracts for large events, pay for assemblies and counseling initiatives, give back to teachers through supplies and Scholastic educational materials, financially improve encore programs, raise the academic bar, and so much more.
For the 2011-2012 SY, we hope to continue the annual programs we support and focus fundraising to enhance the encore programs, helping our students to develop their hidden talents. Our goal is to raise $1,000 for each of the following: Art, ESOL, IT, Library, Music, PE, SIGNET, Special Ed, and START. For a complete budget, please click here.
